1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and utilizing the Police Connect website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined herein. If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from using this portal.
2. Demonstration & Public Guidance Status
Police Connect is an independent public-service digital reference platform created to improve information architecture, accessibility, and navigation for citizens. It does not replace the official statutory functions of the Maharashtra Police Department or state emergency command centers.
For genuine emergency situations, you MUST dial 112 (Police/Emergency) or 1930 (Financial Cyber Fraud) immediately.
3. Prohibition of Malicious or Misleading Reports
Filing deliberately false reports, frivolous complaints, defamatory allegations, or hoax emergency alerts is a punishable offense under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Information Technology Act. Users must provide truthful and accurate information when submitting public feedback.
4. Intellectual Property & Official Emblems
The original Police Connect shield identity, code architecture, and editorial guides are protected by civic copyright. Official state seals, insignia, and emblems belong to their respective governmental bodies and may not be copied or reproduced without statutory authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to maintain accurate station telephone numbers, leadership records, and official links, Police Connect disclaims liability for inadvertent clerical inaccuracies, external server outages, or third-party telecom delays.
